About Me

Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Stacey and I have been a wheelchair user for 30 years. I am a T12 paraplegic resulting from a traumatic spinal cord injury when I was 13 years old.

I have traveled the world with my family and friends, have been employed since the age of 14, and ended up with a MSc in Psychology. I am also a member of Team Canada Para-powerlifting. Throughout all of my experiences, as I navigate big pieces like international travel all the way to daily life activities, I find myself regularly remarking things like, 'Gee this could have been designed better", or "Well that's not accessible at all", often in spaces that are advertised as accessible. I know I am not the only one.
